Plain solid-coloured black jersey fabric - Swafing - per half metre

Gorgeous plain solid black jersey fabric by the iconic German brand Swafing. This wonderful jersey fabric has the Oeko-Tex 100 Standard. 

As is the case with many very high-quality jersey fabrics it is slightly wider and heavier than average, and has 6% elastane giving it brilliant 'recovery' so it pings back into shape perfectly! 

Ideal for all kinds of clothing for adults and children including trousers, dresses, tops, leggings, tunics and loungewear. 

Composition: 94% Cotton, 6% elastane 

Care: Machine wash at 30 degrees centigrade. Do not tumble dry. Cool iron.

Width: 155 cm

Weight: 220 g/m2

As ever, it's always best to wash any fabric, regardless of composition or type, before sewing to account for any shrinkage.
