Beautiful, very high quality plain jersey fabric in an unusual purple, verging to red, colour by the iconic German brand, Swafing - such a wonderful fabric - I love it!  

It is Oeko-Tex Standard certified, so it's free from harmful substances. Perfect for all kinds of clothing including dresses, tops, t-shirts, rompers, PJs and much more for both children and adults. 

Swafing jersey fabrics are outstanding, European-made and the very best you can buy. I've used them myself many times and they wash and sew beautifully as well as being gorgeous to wear. 

Composition: 95% Cotton, 5% elastane 

Care: Machine wash at 30 degrees centigrade. Do not tumble dry. Cool iron. Can be dry cleaned.

As ever, it's always best to wash any fabric, regardless of composition or type, before sewing to account for any shrinkage.
