This fabric is not deadstock. It is a high-quality fabric by Poppy Europe and part of my Bargain Fabrics collection.

Gorgeous Morris-style trailing floral print in browns and muted reds, this is waterproof cotton canvas fabric by Poppy Europe - such a fantastic fabric! 

This canvas is waterproof but it fees like a 'normal' canvas, soft and refined with the Oeko-Tex 100 Standard. Perfect for clothing such as jackets alongside crafts, light upholstery, cushion covers, gifts and bagmaking of course! 

Technical info from Verhees - the brand owner of Poppy Europe: This item complies with the following ISO standards: ISO811:2014 and has been tested for waterproofness by means of a water column test. The result of the water column test is 2200mm, which means that this article is waterproof against rain but cannot experience excessive pressure.

Composition: 100% cotton 

Care: Machine wash at 30 degrees max. Medium iron. Tumble dry on low (though I wouldn't!). Can be dry cleaned.

Width: 135 cm 

Weight: 225 g/m2 

As ever, it's always best to wash any fabric, regardless of composition or type, before sewing to account for any shrinkage.
