Delightful ditsy floral mid-blue viscose crepe dress fabric - per half metre

Delightful ditsy floral 100% viscose crepe dressmaking fabric with a beautiful, very detailed vintage-style print of little flowers, leaves and buds in shades of pink, red and yellow with green leaves on a lovely mid-pale blue background. This is such a pretty dress fabric! 

'Crepe' just means that this fabric has a slight texture to it, which add interest and a tiny bit of extra weight. It also gives a tiny bit of stretch in the horizontal direction, and it's not a sheer or see-through fabric so it doesn't need lining - though it's still lightweight and floaty. 

It's a high-quality fabric by Nooteboom Textiles and would make really gorgeous soft dresses, blouses, tunics, scarves and skirts with gorgeous drape. 

N.B. Like all viscose fabrics this one shrinks a bit on the first wash so do factor this in when buying. I've used one of the crepes from this Nooteboom collection myself to make a tunic top and it sews beautifully and is gorgeous to wear!

Composition: 100% viscose

Care: Machine wash at 30 degrees centigrade. Cool iron. Do not tumble dry.

As ever, it's always best to wash any fabric, regardless of composition or type, before sewing to account for any shrinkage.
