Cotton waffle fabric, yellow - Oeko-Tex - per half metre

Very lovely cotton waffle fabric with the Oeko-Tex 100 Standard in yellow by Poppy Europe Fabrics - such a beautiful sunny colour! 

N.B. THIS FABRIC DOES NOT STRETCH! 

Certified free from harmful substances and very water absorbent, it's ideal for things like reusable face cloths and hand towels, and blankets. You could use it for clothing but it's not as soft as, say, jersey or French Terry, so personally I'd only use it for dressing gowns, wraps, chunky cardigans etc. 

This fabric was chosen by a customer and I imported it for them under my Buy Bespoke For Makers scheme. That means I only have half the bolt left.  

Composition: 100% cotton 

Care: Machine wash at 30 degrees centigrade. Tumble dry on medium. Low iron. Do not dry clean.

Width: 150 cm 

Weight: 250 g/m2

As ever, it's always best to wash any fabric, regardless of composition or type, before sewing to account for any shrinkage.
