Gingham fabric, mid-size 1 cm check, navy blue cotton - per half metre

Very lovely, soft, yarn-dyed 100% cotton gingham fabric by the iconic German brand Swafing, with a 1cm / 10 mm check (the lines are 1 cm in width) in a beautiful navy blue and ivory white colour. 

A high-quality gingham fabric, it's perfect for dressmaking including dresses, shirts, skirts, blouses and tunics but also for crafts and light home furnishings.  

Composition: 100% cotton

Care: Machine wash at 60 degrees maximum. Medium-hot iron. Do not tumble dry. Can be dry cleaned. 

Width: 150 cm

Weight: 120 g/m2

As ever, it's always best to wash any fabric, regardless of composition or type, before sewing to account for any shrinkage.
