This fabric is not deadstock. It is an end-of-line design by Swafing and part of my Bargain Fabrics collection.

Gorgeous, very soft, slightly heavier-weight double gauze fabric, this is a wonderful bright leopard animal print with fuchsia pink (verging to red) and black dots on a teal-turquoise blue background by the iconic German brand Swafing. Brilliant!

It's slightly heavier than the average double gauze at 165g/m2 and it's a flat double gauze fabric. Outstanding quality, it's Oeko-Tex 100 Standard certified, so guaranteed free from harmful substances. 

The perfect fabric for adults and children's clothing of all kinds including dresses, shorts, trousers, peasant blouses, shirts and skirts. 

N.B. This fabric may shrink by up to 5% on first wash - all Swafing double gauze fabrics do this! 

Composition: 100% cotton 

Care: Machine wash at 30 degrees. Iron on low. Do not tumble dry. Can be dry cleaned.

As ever, it's always best to wash any fabric, regardless of composition or type, before sewing to account for any shrinkage.
