This fabric is not deadstock. It is an end-of-line design by Poppy Europe fabrics and is part of my Bargain Fabrics collection. 

Very lovely ramie-cotton mix fabric with a gorgeous bold floral print in tan, ivory and brown on a green background by Poppy Europe - I love it! Ramie is a type of linen fabric - it looks and feels like a pure-linen.     

A high-quality fabric, it's perfect for more structured clothing - anything you might make with a stiffer 100% linen fabric, such as shift dresses, trousers, shorts and jackets etc. Also great for home decor and bag making.  

All the Poppy Europe fabrics in my Bargain Fabrics collection were bought and imported by me direct from them in the Netherlands; they are fabrics which they had in their sale and I'm passing that sale discount on to you! 

Composition: 90% ramie, 10% cotton 

Care: Machine wash at 30 degrees. Medium iron. Tumble dry on low. Can be dry cleaned.

Width: 140 cm 

Weight: 230 g/m2

As ever, it's always best to wash any fabric, regardless of composition or type, before sewing to account for any shrinkage.
