This fabric is not deadstock. It is an end-of-line design by Swafing. 

Wonderful designer jersey fabric with an abstract scribbles print in purple on an ivory background by Thorsten Berger from the Breeze collection for the iconic German designer-fabric brand, Swafing - a gorgeous fabric!     

This jersey fabric is Oeko-Tex Standard certified, so it's free from harmful substances. Perfect for all kinds of clothing including dresses, tops, tunics, t-shirts, leggings, PJs and much more for both children and adults. 

Swafing jersey fabrics are outstanding, European-made and the very best you can buy. I've used them myself many times and they wash and sew beautifully as well as being gorgeous to wear. 

N.B. The ruler photo for scale is the blue version, obviously!  

Composition: 95% Cotton, 5% elastane 

Care: Machine wash at 30 degrees centigrade. Do not tumble dry. Cool iron. Can be dry cleaned.

Weight: 200 g/m2 

As ever, it's always best to wash any fabric, regardless of composition or type, before sewing to account for any shrinkage.
